Book Donations
The Friends of the Library welcomes the donation of gently used books and DVDs to be used in our on-going book sale at the Main Library on Lake Morton.
Ways to Honor
Are you are looking to celebrate someone’s life, birthday or special occasion? Then consider a dedicated donation to the Friends of the Library. These donations allow you to memorialize a loved one or honor a friend or spouse, while helping to ensure that children’s programming, book clubs, fine arts events and adult programming will continue to be an essential part of the Lakeland Libraries.
You choose how you would like to honor your loved one or friend. A donation given towards a gift of materials ensures that your contribution will be used to purchase new items for the Library’s collections. We will place the name of the honoree on a bookplate inside the item. Or you can have the honoree’s name added to the Honor Board that hangs in the Lakeland Public Library on Lake Morton
